The HaroPuro MaruWakari Books are released in conjunction with the twice-yearly Hello! Con tours. The contents usually take the form of questionnaires to the members, mainly asking about other members.
This one, which came out for the 2015 Summer Hello! Cons, would be the first without Berryz Kobo, and the first with Kobushi and Tsubaki Factories. As new entries into H!P, the members of the two Factories also got a 'New Face Maruwakari Special', which has additional questions for the girls.
Q2. Who comes to mind if you were to speak about 'the face of H!P'?
Yajima Maimi: Momochi!? She's exceedingly well recognised around the world. When Berryz Kobo and ℃-ute went to France, Japanese tourists would notice her, going 'It's Momochi!'. That's Momochi for you!
Nakajima Saki: Yajima Maimi. She's Hello! Project's leader, and I'm not going to budge on that!
Suzuki Airi: If we're talking about the leader, then it'd be Yajima Maimi-chan. Tsugunaga Momoko-chan will probably continue helping out. I've got respect for them!
Okai Chisato: Tsugunaga Momoko ♥ Momochi!! Momo-chan really is amazing (>_<) I respect her, and she's the face of H!P... We'll do our best so that someday, ℃-ute will be who comes to mind when you mention H!P!!!
Hagiwara Mai: Maimi-chan! She's H!P's Leader, so of course the face would be Maimi-chan.
Q2. Who comes to mind if you were to speak about 'the face of H!P'?
Fukumura Mizuki: Yajima Maimi-san. Ever since 2015 started, Yajima-san has been giving pep talks at Hello! Project concerts. I think that Yajima-san's gentleness and strength have the power to move people.
Ikuta Erina: Yajima Maimi-san. She's H!P's leader, with a beautiful face, a beautiful singing voice, intense dancing. As an idol, she's superb.
Sayashi Riho: The 4 12ki members of Morning Musume。´15. We've been holding our own tours from March, and they've steadily been picking up steam in that period! They're now in their growth phase, so keep a good eye on them. 12ki are our face, aren't they?
Suzuki Kanon: Yajima Maimi-san. Even if she makes the rain pour (laughs), when we meet, Yajima-san receives me with a warmth that's like the sun. I think it's just right for H!P's face.
Iikubo Haruna: Suzuki Airi-san. It's not just Suzuki-san's singing or dancing, seeing her expressions on-stage makes my heart go wild. Watching her, I feel like I've completely become her lover: 'Aitai, Aitai, Aitai na'.
Ishida Ayumi: Yajima Maimi-san. She's called 'Crusher' despite being so beautiful...... But she's really kind, she's H!P's leader. At any rate, I don't think there's anyone else but Yajima-san.
Sato Masaki: Tsugunaga-san. Because she appears on TV a lot.
Kudo Haruka: Suzuki Airi-san. Singing, dancing, modelling, Suzuki-san can do anything, she's surely Hello! Project's face. I have to do my best to become like Suzuki-san, and continue on after that.
Oda Sakura: Yajima-san! She definitely is our leader. ℃-ute-san themselves are like divine beings!!
Ogata Haruna: Yajima Maimi-san. She's perfect and I totally look up to her. I'd like to become a woman like that.
Nonaka Miki: Yajima Maimi-san!! Hello! Project's leader Yajima-san is cool and cute and gentle, she's a perfect person who's completely beyond reach, that's the impression I get.
Makino Maria: Yajima Maimi-san ♥ If you're talking about the current leader of Hello! Project, it's Yajima-san. On the birthday of any Hello! member, Yajima-san will write a message on her blog. It's amazing!!!

Nakanishi Kana: Katsuta Rina-chan. Because of impact of the Bakuwara Generations, it's got to be Rinapu~ if you're talking about Hello! Project's face!
Takeuchi Akari: Yajima Maimi-san. If you mention Hello! Project, it's got to be her!!
Katsuta Rina: Nakanishi Kana. It could be no one else besides her... that's what she told me to write (laughs).
Tamura Meimi: Suzuki Airi-san! Her singing and dancing are attractive, I admire her. I'd like to learn more by mimicking Suzuki-san.
Murota Mizuki: Sayashi Riho-san. Because she's Morning Musume。´15's ace!!
Aikawa Maho: Wada Ayaka-san. She's got beauty and cuteness, she's really lovely! Her singing is cute as well. Yajima Maimi-san has a really great figure. Her dancing is attractive as well.
Sasaki Rikako: Yajima Maimi-san. She's a wonderful leader!

Miyazaki Yuka: Yajima Maimi-san. She's a senpai I've always admired and respect! She's earnest with everything she does, and if something happens to a kouhai like me, she'll get in touch. Inside and outside, she's perfect ♥
Kanazawa Tomoko: Tsugunaga Momoko-san. In addition to being known by a lot of people, to me, she's also strict on herself. She's a senpai that acts as an example for me to learn from. I'd like her to continue to bring H!P forward in the future.
Takagi Sayuki: Momochi-senpai!!! Everyone knows 'Momochi'! She can really lead in the MC aspect.
Miyamoto Karin: Fukumura Mizuki-chan. That catchphrase 'We are the current Morning Musume。' really sticks in your mind! She's Morning Musume。´15's leader!!
Uemura Akari: Yajima Maimi-san. If you're talking about Hello! Project's leader, it's Yajima Maimi-san!!!

Tsugunaga Momoko: I'd like ℃-ute to lead even more intensely ♪ We're from the same generation, and I'd like to see the sight of them standing at the vanguard!! Momochi will rela~xedly watch them intently from behind ♥
Yamaki Risa: Yajima Maimi-san is H!P's leader. She's really beautiful. Momochi-senpai because she's a popular person who appears on a variety of media. It's like there isn't a person who doesn't know 'Momochi'!
Inaba Manaka: Yajima Maimi-san isn't just Hello! Project's leader, I think that her looks are suitable as well. Because she performs at a high level, and she's a really diligent person.
Morito Chisaki: Suzuki Airi-san. It's like she can't be beat when it comes to dancing and singing, and she's beautiful and cute, with a figure to die for. Sayashi-san is really good at singing and dancing, I think that everyone looks up to her presence.
Ozeki Mai: Yajima Maimi-san. Her dancing and singing are really attractive, and she's such a beauty. She's perfect, as an idol, and as a woman.

Fujii Rio: Tsugunaga Momoko-san. Because I think that even people who don't really know about Hello! Project know about Tsugunaga-san.
Hirose Ayaka: Tsugunaga Momoko-san. I think she's amazing, making tons of TV appearances!!
Nomura Minami: Yajima Maimi-san. As she's the leader.
Ogawa Rena: Yajima Maimi-san. Because she's the leader of us all.
Hamaura Ayano: Yajima Maimi-san. As she's Hello! Project's leader, I guess it'd be Yajima-san.
Taguchi Natsumi: Yajima Maimi-san, Suzuki Airi-san. Because Yajima-san leads us as the leader of Hello! Project, and Suzuki-san is flourishing in all sorts of places such as commercials and magazines!
Wada Sakurako: Yajima Maimi-san. Because she's Hello! Project's Leader.
Inoue Rei: Yajima Maimi-san. It's not just because she's the leader, it's also because she's got a high level of performing skills and she's level-headed.
Q2. Who comes to mind if you were to speak about 'the face of H!P'?
Ogata Risa: Yajima Maimi-san. She's the leader of Hello! Project, and in my mind she's level-headed, and the most mature in ℃-ute.
Yamagishi Riko: Yajima Maimi-san. Because she's the leader of ℃-ute-san, and also the leader of Hello! Project.
Niinuma Kisora: Yajima Maimi-san. While she's obviously the leader, it's also because she really is beautiful!
Tanimoto Ami: Yajima Maimi-san. Because she's Hello! Project's leader.
Kishimoto Yumeno: Yajima Maimi-san. Since she's the person who brings us together as H!P Leader.
Asakura Kiki: Suzuki Airi-san. Because she's got everything: singing, dancing, expressiveness, individuality, looks. Such a perfect person is rare.
Notes and observations:
- So this was pretty much a landslide:
Maimi - 33 nominations
Momochi - 9 nominations
Airi - 6 nominations - While I thought that I'd start with making an impassioned argument for Momochi, Kanana does give a strong argument for the vanguard of a certain unofficial unit:
- On that note, Katsuta and Kanana both named one another. Though based on Bakuwara's statement, it was orchestrated by Kanana.
- Where was I? Argument for Momochi, right. After all, Momochi is hands down the most well-known H!P member to the public right now, flourishing in the variety circuit - surely the face of H!P. But then again, rereading the question, it doesn't ask about who the most well-known member is, it asks about 'the face of H!P'. And despite how much I love Momochi, if someone were to point to her and ask whether she's THE representative of H!P, THE exemplary member of H!P, THE face of H!P...well, I wouldn't be able to say yes.
- Personally, I'd choose Airi. But Maimi makes a good choice as well, possessing many qualities that would likely be agreed on as representative of H!P idols. Does help that she's H!P leader as well.
- That said, there probably wouldn't be much disagreement between the top 3 - Momo named ℃-ute, Maimi named Momo, and Airi named both of them.
- Also of note is that the top 3 are from the 'oldest generation' of the current H!P. I'd say that you could argue that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree - the seniors helped shape the juniors, so it's fitting that the seniors would be representative.
- On that note, Riho's the only one who named people from a lower generation - well, depending on how you think about Momo's nomination of ℃-ute, I guess.
- Wrapping up, being a leader probably helps prop up that image of being a representative, as leaders Mizuki and Wada also got mentioned. Ace Riho also got named as well.
I would also say Momochii. I thought when you say THE FACE, the face that people recognize out of the entire group which is easily Momochii (oh geez, just how much I love to say Momoko, but that's entirely a different persona lol)
